Review of financial reporting – Bakkafrost P/F Finanstilsynet (The Financial supervisory Authority of Norway) has reviewed certain matters in the financial statements of Bakkafrost P/F for 2013. The review included impairment tests of fish farming licenses which, in Finanstilsynet's view, were not in accordance with IFRS. Bakkafrost has noted Finanstilsynets comments and there was no need to impair book values.
The review has further included disclosures relating to licenses, biological assets and property, plant and equipment. Finanstilsynet assumes that Bakkafrost will include adequate information regarding these matters going forward.
