Adoption of Norwegian regulations on supplementary rules to the MiFID II and MiFIR regulations

The Norwegian MiFID II and MiFIR regulations were adopted by Finanstilsynet on 4 December 2017.

• Adoption of regulations mirroring MiFID II and MiFIR

The Norwegian regulations establish rules mirroring 48 Commission Regulations which supplement MiFID II and MiFIR, and rules mirroring the Commission Directive which supplements MiFID II (level 2 rules), and have been adopted by delegation from the Ministry of Finance. The regulations enter into force on 1 January 2018.
