Finanstilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against trading on the Kyoto Commodity Exchange
Finanstilsynet has been informed that foreign investment firms have approached Norwegian investors offering trading on the exchange Kyoto Commodity Exchange (asdress: 33 Karasumadori Shiokoji-sagaru, Higashi Shiokojicho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto 600-8555, Japan). The information received by Finanstilsynet, gives us reason to believe that the exchange is fraudulent. The company also offers services from a website http://kycx.org/.
Finanstilsynet wishes to make it clear that Kyoto Commodity Exchange does not have authorisation to operate as a regulated market in Norway. Finanstilsynet therefore recommends investors not to trade, enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Kyoto Commodity Exchange.
Finanstilsynet's registry gives details of all companies authorised to offer investment services in Norway. A list (not complete) of companies operating in the market without a licence can be found on Finanstilsynet's website.
