Finanstilsynet has been informed that foreign investment firms have approached Norwegian investors offering trading on the exchange Houston Derivatives Exchange (asdress:Allen Centre Downtown, 1400 Smith Street, 7702, Houston, Texas). The information received by Finanstilsynet, gives us reason to believe that the exchange is fraudulent. The company also offers services from a website http://www.houdex.org/.

Finanstilsynet wishes to make it clear that Houston Derivatives Exchange does not have authorisation to operate as a regulated market in Norway. Finanstilsynet therefore recommends investors not to trade, enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Houston Derivatives Exchange.
