Marte Voie Opland appointed Deputy Director General

Voie Opland has worked at Finanstilsynet for several periods and has headed various sections in the securities area. She is now leaving the position as head of the section for capital market infrastructure. Voie Opland has a law degree from the University of Oslo and has extensive experience from working as a lawyer at banks and a law firm.

She will succeed Anne Merethe Bellamy, who has been Deputy Director General and a member of Finanstilsynet’s management team since 1999. Bellamy will assume a position in the Director General’s staff.
