Requirements for IRB models

On 24 January 2020, Finanstilsynet sent a draft circular on requirements for IRB models to Finance Norway for comment. Finance Norway has given its comments to the draft, which will be considered by Finanstilsynet. However, due to the turmoil caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus, Finanstilsynet will not give priority to finalising the circular now. A new circular will therefore not be prepared for some time.
