The Norwegian Ministry of Finance was severely hit by the bomb blast in Oslo on 22 July. Fortunately no employees were injured. The Ministry started immediately to set up alternative emergency offices and has been fully operative this week.
The police investigation in the building is now finished, and the building has been examined by building experts. There are good reasons to believe that the Ministry can move into parts of the building in the near future. The Ministry has now taken up normal work routines. No data systems were affected by the bomb blast and all have been accessible to our staff. The Budget process is proceeding as planned to be presented 6 October 2011.
