Finanstilsynet warns against investment offers promoted by Djup Fondstad

Finanstilsynet has received information that Djup Fondstad has contacted Norwegian investors and offered investment services. The company also offers services through the website www.djup-fondstad.com and djupfondstad.org.

Finanstilsynet emphasizes that Djup Fondstad is not authorized to provide investment services in Norway and therefore does not hold the necessary approval under Norwegian law. This means that Finanstilsynet does not supervise the company and has not approved the services it offers. Finanstilsynet therefore advises investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer funds to Djup Fondstad.

In addition, Finanstilsynet is aware that the firm has misused the names and identities of well-known individuals in the marketing of its services. Finanstilsynet also refers to fabricated scam articles purporting to have been published by NRK and the television programme Debatten.

Finanstilsynet’s company register contains information about all entities authorized to offer investment services in Norway. On Finanstilsynet’s website, there is also a (non-exhaustive) list of market participants operating without authorization.
