Finanstilsynet warns investors against trading through the RheindorBit trading platform

Finanstilsynet) has received information that RheindorBit has contacted Norwegian investors and offered investment services. The company offers investment services through several websites, including RheindorBit.com, RheindorBit.pro and RheindorBit.site.

Finanstilsynet wishes to alert investors that the trading platform RheindorBit is not authorised to provide investment services in Norway and therefore does not hold the necessary licence under Norwegian law. This means that Finanstilsynet does not supervise the company and has not approved the services it offers. Finanstilsynet therefore advises investors not to enter into agreements with, or transfer assets to, RheindorBit through the websites RheindorBit.com, RheindorBit.pro and RheindorBit.site.

In addition, Finanstilsynet is aware that the company has misused the names and identities of well-known individuals in the marketing of its services.

Finanstilsynet’s Registry of Entities contains information on all firms authorised to provide investment services in Norway. Finanstilsynet’s website also includes a list (not exhaustive) of market participants operating without the required authorisation.
