The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway warns against trading on the platforms: Frostmark-tradewise, Hoy-invexa og Immediate-fintrevo

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) warns against entities that market crypto investments and other financial products through unauthorized trading platforms. These platforms often appear safe and professional but lack authorization to provide investment services in Norway.

Typical characteristics

  • Unrealistic tools: The platforms display “live profits,” “AI trading,” or fabricated graphs without documentation.
  • Aggressive contact: After registering, you are contacted by an “advisor” who pressures you to deposit a minimum amount (often 250 EUR/USD).
  • Withdrawal issues: Investors report demands for extra fees, frozen accounts, lack of response, and contact persons who disappear.

These entities are not authorized in Norway, and Finanstilsynet does not supervise them. Investors should not enter into agreements or transfer money to such platforms.

How to protect yourself

  • Be critical of investment advice and ads on social media.
  • Investigate the company thoroughly before investing.
  • Do not let yourself be pressured into making quick decisions.
  • Check whether the company is registered in Finanstilsynet’s business register.
