Nrp Finance and the website nrpfinance.com (clone of the investment firm NRP Project Finance AS)

Nrp Finance and the website nrpfinance.com (clone of the investment firm NRP Project Finance AS)

Published: 18 January 2022

Finanstilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) warns against investment offers promoted by Nrp Finance and the website nrpfinance.com (clone of the investment firm NRP Project Finance AS)

Finanstilsynet has been informed that Nrp Finance, using the website nrpfinance.com, is offering investment services. It should be noted that there is no connection whatsoever between Nrp Finance and the investment firm NRP Project Finance AS, who has authorization to provide investment services in Norway under a licence from Finanstilsynet. Nrp Finance, and the website nrpfinance.com is missusing the trading name of the investment firm NRP Project Finance AS.

Finanstilsynet wishes to make it clear that Nrp Finance is not authorised to provide investment services in Norway, and therefore lacks the licence required under Norwegian law. The company is consequently not subject to Finanstilsynet’s supervisory oversight, nor has Finanstilsynet approved the services offered by the company. Finanstilsynet therefore recommends investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Nrp Finance or to use the website nrpfinance.com.

Finanstilsynet's registry gives details of all companies authorised to offer investment services in Norway. A list (not complete) of companies operating in the market without a licence can be found on Finanstilsynet's website.
